The generous support of numerous individuals, families, corporations and foundations enable us to provide free books and literacy information for more than 20,000 Connecticut families each year. There are numerous ways you can support Read to Grow programs:

    • Our Donors Are Essential
      Read to Grow recognizes the generosity of our donors in the following ways:
    • Annual Report: All donors are listed (including matching gifts) in the Annual Report for the given fiscal year.
    • Website: Donors are listed on our website, and updated on a regular basis.
    • Special Events: Read to Grow hosts an annual Patron’s Event for donors of $1,000/year or more.

  • Individual Giving

  • There are many different ways you can contribute to Read to Grow and make a difference in children’s lives.

    • Read to Grow offers many opportunities for individual giving throughout the year including supporting our Annual Fund, donating funds to support a family, hospital program, follow up program and more. Participating in, or sponsoring an event. Taking advantage of outright or deferred planned giving options.

    • Matching Gifts and Workplace Giving
      Many companies double or triple their employees’ charitable contributions through matching gift programs and/or offer workplace giving campaigns. Inquire at your company about opportunities to multiply the impact of your gift to Read to Grow.

  • Tribute Gifts

    Celebrating a Birthday? Anniversary? Or Occasion?
    Tribute gifts are a unique way to recognize family, special friends, or business colleagues.

    • Need a gift for someone who has everything? Tax-deductible tribute gifts are a wonderful way to commemorate or honor a special person or occasion.
    • Do you have everything? Dedicate your birthday/wedding/other celebration to Read to Grow. Ask friends and family to make a donation in your honor to Read to Grow in lieu of gifts.

  • Gifts of Stock
