Where Do the Books Go?
-
Read to Grow puts your donations into the hands of little readers all over Connecticut.
- We receive requests in various ways. Often a mother, father or other caregiver will call and request books for children. Teachers often contact us requesting books for their students to take home and keep. Our goal is to help build home libraries for children all over Connecticut.

- “We are very appreciative of all the staff and management at READ TO GROW, our son’s reading skills are superb because of you….he does an excellent job in identifying and spelling letters, words, numbers. We started reading to him from birth, because your dedicated staff visited in the hospital…..we are forever thankful. From the Coopers’, thank you.”

- “I recently made a request to Read to Grow for Junie B. Jones books. What a great surprise to see the two boxes of Junie B. books arrive at school today! I almost cried…I was sooo excited for my students. They are going to be thrilled when I let them choose a book to keep and bring home to read over the summer . This was my first experience using Read to Grow and what a great experience it has been…I feel like it is Christmas in June. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts…we really appreciate your generosity! Have a wonderful summer.”
